Regional Collaboration for Global Impact
We are privileged to be part of God’s work in the world in partnership with Presbyterian mission co-workers.
The Growing Together in Mission campaign is helping people in congregations learn about the following group of ten dedicated individuals with whom the Presbytery has enduring ties and give us glimpses of the astonishing things that the Holy Spirit is doing in many places.
Middle East:
Deepen and strengthen the relational ties between the PC (USA) and partners in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Kuwait, and Oman.
Egypt
Three theological educators work in the academic development of new pastors.
South America:
Who was raised at Shadow Hills Presbyterian Church, serves with the Presbyterian Church of Colombia and collaborates with the Presbyterian Church of Venezuela.
Africa
Works with Christians in South Sudan and Niger to develop sustainable clean water and sanitation systems. He was recently evacuated to the United States due to the political unrest in Niger.
Europe
Deepen and strengthen relational ties between the PC (USA) and partners in northern and central Europe while also building working relationships with new partners. A particular area of emphasis has been collaboration in extending Christ’s hospitality to refugees from Iran and other countries.
Asia
Teaches pastors and other Christian leaders in Indonesia how to relate with people of different religious backgrounds in Christ honoring ways.
You can be part of God’s work in partnership with our Mission Co-Workers:
The amounts received by November will be equally distributed for the support of mission co-workers, efforts to address food insecurity through North Valley Caring Services, and the development of pastoral leaders within our Presbytery.
So, with the help of our mission co-workers, we join hands together to work internationally, standing alongside each other as we become part of God’s healing and restoring work.
